Chemical processes can release energy. Burning oil (CxHx + O2 = H20 + CO2) is an example of it. We think to much in C in energy releasing. We must think wider. We must use chemical processes not a main target processes, but maybe more as side processes. We will use chemics to initiate, influence and/or maintain processes in the future is very clear. There is a complete new energy harvesting world to discover within chemics.
